I build software that solves real problems.

I am a Computer Science student at Clark University focused on building practical systems, growing strong communities, and sharing what I learn along the way.

About

I care about useful software, thoughtful leadership, and long-term growth. My path has included research, teaching assistant roles, production engineering work, and community building through projects like Clark's makerspace. This site is a full snapshot of the work and the story behind it.

Research
  • I have worked across Human-Computer Interaction, networks, and education-focused robotics research since 2023.
  • My HCI work has been with Prof. John Magee (former Chair of Computer Science, now Provost of Clark University).
  • My networks research has been with Prof. Olufemi Odgebile (networks professor at Clark).
  • My Lego robotics research has been with Prof. Lewis Tseng (now at UMass Lowell, formerly at Clark University).
  • I am building an LLM from scratch with Prof. Gary Holness (Chair of Computer Science at Clark).
  • At HCII 2024 in Washington, DC, I led the project and presented with my co-authors.
  • I am first author and project lead for our ISAM 2025 submission.

Teaching and Work
  • I began as a TA for CSCI 124 Honors (Intro to Computing), then supported Algorithms, and later Data Structures.
  • Teaching has been one of the most important parts of my growth as an engineer and communicator.
  • In Summer 2025, I interned at Wayfair and shipped production backend tooling in C# on Kubernetes.
Leadership and Community
  • First Year Representative of Dana Hall (Student Council): I advocated for renewal priorities in the freshman dorms and pushed improvements on behalf of first-year students.
  • First Year Outreach Chair, Black Student Union: I organized outreach and helped lead one of the most attended events of the year.
  • Secretary, C4 (Clark Competitive Computing Club): I helped lead programs where we taught kids programming with robots and planned two school hackathons.

I co-founded Clark University's first makerspace (Lux Lab), helped build operational workflows for equipment and safety, and supported student communities through workshops and hackathons.

Coding Projects
  • Roommates App: iOS household management app for chores, accountability, and shared organization (App Store).
  • Outside Weather: mobile weather app focused on personalized notifications and day-to-day usability (App Store).
  • Music Player: music-focused app experiments and iteration work (Live).
  • MOO (Money App): student-oriented budgeting app with onboarding, dashboard, and spending insights.
  • MazeRunner: pathfinding and algorithmic problem solving.
  • NodePulse: graph-based algorithms project (Live).
  • Desktop Voice Assistant: speech and query workflows with Google and Wolfram APIs.

Reflections

Research taught me that progress is rarely linear. Most meaningful results came from iteration, honest feedback, and collaboration with people who challenged my assumptions.

Teaching made that even clearer. The idea that "the best way to learn is to teach" has shaped how I work. Helping students understand hard concepts has made me a better engineer and communicator.

Community has been the constant through everything I do. When people trust each other and build together, better ideas emerge and better work follows. That belief is behind my technical work, leadership, and long-term goals.
